HEY BIRD IS THE WORD.

this all started with a bird that talks. she was very fascinated with the bird that talks, and sort of fascinated by this tsuntsun attitude. it was really more of touching the cute bird, and then it was talking, and then it was totally a person? i'm not quite sure how to explain her gawking mental process inwhich the bird has people qualities. she usually treats animals like she treats everyone else, anyway, but it's still like. holy shit. this bird is talking to me.

and then the bird had no friends and didn't know what friendship was, and she was kind of struck that it was really sad, and it kind of put an interesting twist on the way she usually treats situations like that (situations where the person that she's focusing on is obviously not human but has a lot of human traits). while before she was pretty content with poking him back and forth and watching him fuss about it, i think she's departed on a new mission to really kind of emotionally support this pigeon and show him what friendship is because... that's sort of what she does.

but he'll still get poked plenty.
